Griffin, David
Date and place of birth unknown [Ireland?]. Details of education unknown. Place of study unknown [Rome). Date and place of ordination unknown [Rome]. He gained his degree of Bachelor of Theology as a student at Propaganda College, Rome and shared first prize in fundamental theology. Details of his arrival in the Armidale diocese are unknown. He is recorded as having been located at Quirindi, Tamworth and the cathedral between 1924 and 1929, with the move from Tamworth to Armidale occurring in 1926, following which he is listed as being on leave from 1930 to 1936, when it appears he may have returned to Ireland for reasons that are unknown. He died on 31 December 1936 in Dublin, and was buried in Dublin.
