Finance Got Him Down

Exact background unknown. Ord.: 1859; arr. Vic. 1869, being registered for marriage celebrations on 17 Sept. Served briefly at Ballarat, Yarraville. In '70 he was the first and only pastor of Talbot in the Carisbrook mission, where today the Catholic population has disappeared and even the handsome bluestone church has been sold. From mid '70 to '72 he helped out in the Kilmore-Heathcote mission. Geelong.(CD's '75 & '76) and Castlemaine were other places of service. The temporary volunteer left for England in July '76.
