Samoa
He was born in Luxembourg in 1875. He was professed a Marist in 1897 and left for Samoa in 1899, aged 24. Apart from 6 years in Apia as Pro-Vicar and Procurator for the Mission, he spent nearly his whole missionary life in Lepua in American Samoa. He built a fine church there. He represented Oceania at the General Chapter in 1921. He died, aged 60, and was buried in the church at Lepua.
