Doyle, Daniel Joseph

Born 6 October 1859, probably at Ballinguilla, near Crookstown, parish of Kilmurry, Co Cork and educated at Bandon National School and Mount Melleray as was his brother J J Doyle. He studied at All Hallows, Dublin, and was ordained at All Hallows for the Armidale diocese on 24 June 1885. He arrived in Lismore on 22 October 1885 and was based there with his brother. He subsequently was appointed to Grafton as parish priest, after John O'Sullivan departed. Around 1891 he left the diocese and went to New Zealand. His movements after that date are not known. He died on 30 September 1930. Place of death unknown. Place of burial unknown.
