Monsignor O'Gorman. Death in Ireland, The Sydney Morning Herald, 26 January 1931, p 8, http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article16748692:

The death of the Right Rev. Monsignor John O'Gorman, parish priest of Parramatta, took place in Dublin on Saturday. Monsignor O'Gorman went to Europe last year with Archbishop Kelly, and attended the Eucharistic Congress at Carthage. Afterwards he attended a meeting of the Permanent Committee of the International Eucharistic Congress in Paris, and then went to Ireland.

Upon the death of Cardinal Moran, Monsignor O'Gorman was appointed administrator of St. Mary's Cathedral, and with Archbishop Kelly he undertook the vast work of completing the cathedral. He was credited with raising more than £100,000 for this work. In 1919 Monsignor O'Gorman was appointed parish priest of Parramatta, and in 1920 a brief from Rome raised him to the rank of domestic prelate, with the title of Monsignor.

When the Eucharistic Congress held in Sydney in 1928 was mooted, the Archbishop and committee appointed Monsignor O'Gorman general secretary to the congress, and his capacity for work was a material factor for the success of the congress. Among his surviving relatives is a sister—Mother Philomena, of the Windsor Convent, Melbourne.

A solemn Requiem Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Church, Parramatta, on Friday, at 10 a.m. Archbishop Kelly will preside.
