Maloney, Patrick F

Date and place of birth unknown. Details of education unknown. Place of study unknown. Date and place of ordination unknown. It appears he was educated in continental Europe and the USA. Date and place of ordination unknown. He appears to have worked in New Zealand from 1869 to 1871, then came to the Armidale diocese in 1872, for reasons unknown. A newspaper report noted that he was the successor of Dean J T Lynch in Armidale in early 1873. He then was appointed to Tenterfield, where he was recorded as being with J T Lynch, and principal of a 'private' Catholic school in the town. It appears he then left the diocese in 1874. There is no trace of him after that time. Date of death unknown, although a Patrick Maloney died in the USA on 6 August 1895. Place of burial unknown.
