Death of Father Caesaretti, Cork Examiner, Ireland, 15 March 1869, p 2:

Last week there were celebrated at the Augustinian Church, Dungarvan, the funeral obsequies of a pious and exemplary priest, who was for many years known and admired in this city. Father Caesaretti was one of those priests who seem to carry the perfume of the sanctuary with them wherever they go; and his holy life was a continual sermon of the highest kind to all who knew him. In Dungarvan, where he had been but a short time, he has been deeply regretted.

Fr T.J. Linane, From Abel to Zundolovich, Vol. 2: Biographies of Priests on the Australian Scene up to 1900, 1980, p 33:
Ceseretti (or Caesaretti) Nicholas, OSA, Italian
First Curate in Bendigo

Quite a number of Augustinians came to the Victorian Mission in the pastorate of Bishop Goold, 1848-1886. Among them the Downings, O'Hea, Bassetto etc. Nicholas Ceseretti was born in Perugia (circa 1828), and was ordained for the Italian Mission. The circumstances of his volunteering for Melbourne Diocese are unknown, but he first appears as a curate to Dr. Henry Backhaus in 1858. The pioneer, Backhaus, had lots of trouble with his curates supposedly misbehaving, and relationships in the old Presbytery were usually anything but cordial. There is no record of a 'clash' with Ceseretti who gave good, zealous service for close on two years. After leaving Bendigo he served for a few months in Kilmore. Still part of the Italian Augustinian Province he went to London in 1860. Some time later he made his way to Ireland, eventually becoming Vicar-Prior of the Augustinian House in Dungarvan, County Wexford. A memorial window and tablet in the Dungarvan House gives his death date as 7 March 1869 and the age as 40.
