Four new plaques have been added to the Memorial Wall in our Memorial Garden.

The final new plaque is for Fr Anthony (Tony) Young MSC. Fr Anthony grew up in this parish, joined the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, and ministered as a missionary priest in Papua New Guinea for almost 60 years. In 2018, Papua New Guinea awarded him the Companion Star of Melanesia (CSM) for his service. Fr Tony passed away on 8 January 2023. He is buried in Papua New Guinea. We are proud to recognise him with a memorial plaque.
