Biographical Notes

Fr T.J. Linane, From Abel to Zundolovich, Vol. 2: Biographies of Priests on the Australian Scene up to 1900, 1980, p 45:

Clark, Dominic Richard, OFM, English
Temporary Servant in Armidale Diocese

Bishop Eleazar Torregiani, a Capuchin himself, appears to have been able to call for the services of many different Capuchins during his episcopacy in Armidale, 1879-1904. Dominic Clark is one such, probably from the English Province of the Order. He appears on the Gunnedah baptism register from 13.10.'87 to 11.3.'88. The Directory of 1889 gives as place of service, Quirindi. Beyond ... no trail.

T.W. Campbell, The Priests of the Diocese of Armidale: A Necrology, Braddon ACT, 2005:
Clark, Richard (Fr Dominic) (OSFC)

Richard Clark was born in Cork, Ireland in 1850. He entered the Capuchins at Rochestown on 27 September 1881, was Simply Professed on 4 August 1878 and Finally Professed on 8 September 1881. He was ordained a priest in Cork on 27 August 1882. In Father Englebert's Visitation report in 1886, Dominic is described as being unwise and worldly minded. The Visitor remarked that he might join Bishop Elzear Torreggiani in Australia. He did. Within the Armidale diocese his name appears on the Gunnedah baptismal register from October 1887 to March 1888, then at Quirindi in 1889. There is no trace of him within the diocese from that time, but it is apparent he left the priesthood.
In 1898 he was admitted to the Anglican church as a priest from the Roman Communion by the Bishop of Riverina with the sanction of the Bishop of Sydney. He then served as curate of Brown Hill, Ballarat Vic (1900-1901), then in other parishes in Victoria (1901-1904), then South Australia (1905-1912). He then moved to England, becoming curate of Quarry Bank (1912-1914), Thornton (1914-1916), Burley, Yorkshire (1916-1918), Wortley de Leeds (1918-1926), where he retired. Date of death unknown. Place of burial unknown.
