Sheridan, was submitted to the meeting, and, after some discussion of a conversational kind, adopted, the next resolution, viz., "that the intended new church be built of brick and stone foundation" having been considered was carried, and the Rev. Father O'Connell then rose and proposed the third resolution, that the following gentlemen, namely, Rev. Paul E. Tissott, Rev. J. O'Connell, and Messrs. [...], with power to add to their number be appointed a collecting committee, that the subscriptions obtained through the agency of the said committee be published from the altar monthly, and that this system be kept in operation till the new church is completed.
