An ordination of priests, a very interesting ceremonial in the Catholic Church, took place on Saturday morning, in St. Patrick's Church. The candidates were the Rev. William Finn and the Rev. John O'Connell. The Right Rev. Dr. Goold was the celebrant, and the following clergymen assisted:—Dean Fitzpatrick, Dr. Barry (President of the College), Dean Hayes (from Geelong), Rev Messrs McCarthy, Hayden, Stowe, Madden, and England. The ceremony lasted about an hour, and it is worthy of remark that the Rev Mr Finn is the first priest educated and ordained in Victoria.
