Forde, Michael
Born in Co Cork, Ireland, date of birth unknown. Details of education unknown. Studied at All Hallows. Ordained at All Hallows on 24 June 1900 for the Maitland diocese. His first appointment was as assistant priest Branxton (1900), then Dungog (1901). He was on loan to Diocese of Armidale in the period 1903 to 1905, which time he spent at the cathedral in Armidale. He then returned to the Maitland diocese, ultimately becoming parish priest Murrurundi in 1916, where he remained until his death. He died in the Mater Hospital Waratah on 26 May 1937, and was buried at Murrurundi.
