Highly respected member of the Society of the Missionaries of The Sacred Heart. Son of Thomas Edmond and Margaret Mary (nee Harrington) (both deceased).
Loved brother to Timothy, Bernadette and Harry (deceased). Beloved uncle to John, Christopher, Brenden, Patrick, Gerard, Phillip, Judith, John, Matthew, Michael and Katherine, 11 great-nephews and nieces. Faithful friend to many.
A Vigil of Prayer will be held in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart Monastery, 1 Roma Avenue, Kensington on Wednesday (1st November 2017) appointed to commence at 7.30 pm.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial for Reverend Father John Anthony Shallvey MSC will be offered at Our Lady of The Sacred Heart Church, 193 Avoca Street, Randwick on Thursday (2nd November 2017) appointed to commence at 10.00 am.
The Funeral Cortege will leave the Church at the conclusion of Mass for the MSC Community Cemetery, St Mary's Towers, Douglas Park.
