Quinn, Fr. Laurence Joseph
In pace Christi. The Bishop and Priests of the Diocese of Port Pirie advise of the death of Fr. Laurie Quinn on 30th January 2019. Aged 87, he was ordained on the 29th of June 1963 in Burra and ministered in Whyalla, Loxton, Port Lincoln and Burra. He was Parish Priest of Port Lincoln for 19 years, and Burra for 14. Requiem Mass will be in St. Joseph’s Church, Burra. Date to be advised. "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter now into the joy of the Lord."

Passed away peacefully at Port Pirie. Loving son of Tom and Harriett Quinn Loving brother of May, Harry and Jim (all dec.) A special thank you to the devoted staff of St Joseph’s House, Port Pirie for their wonderful care of Fr. Laurie over the last four years. Resting peacefully with his Lord whom he served faithfully for 56 years.

The Relatives and Friends of the late Laurence Joseph Quinn are advised that his Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Market Street, Burra, on Friday February 8th at 1.30pm. Following the Mass, the cortege will proceed to the Burra Cemetery for the Committal.
The Holy Rosary will be recited at 1.15pm.
