Fr Frank Cresp, Good and Faithful Servants: Recalling the Spirit of the Deceased Priests of the Diocese of Port Augusta and Port Pirie 1888-2008, 2008:
Killian, Andrew

Born: 26/10/1872 in King's Co, Ireland.
Studied Mungret College. BA Degree from the Royal University of Ireland.
Ordained: 4/6/1898 at Carlow College for Diocese of Wilcannia Forbes.
Ordained Bishop of Port Augusta: 15/6/1924 at Peterborough, SA.
Archbishop of Adelaide 1935.
Died: 28/6/1939. Buried in West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide.
In a dry year: "A man could drive a bull-ant from Port Augusta to Oodnadatta without losing sight of him." First Bishop of the diocese to own a car - and he loved it!
Highly respected by the priests of the Diocese.
