Biographical Notes

The Rev Father Bolger, The Tatura Guardian, 18 March 1898, p 2, http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article269330055:

Who has been coadjutor with the Rev J.P. McCarthy for about twelve months, has been removed to Tatura. Father Bolger will be much missed, having greatly endeared himself to his congregation whilst stationed in Numurkah. The kindly feeling that existed is proved by the fact that during his residence here he was presented conjointly by the parishioners in Nathalia, Barmah, and Strathmerton with the handsome sum of £70 for the purpose of purchasing a buggy and horse. Father Bolger (says the Numurkah Leader) has been succeeded by the Rev Father Brady, of Yarrawonga.
