Pabtrick Sullivan was educated at OLSH, Bowral, and Riverview, 1928-33. As a boy he was liked by others, and was a member of both the Sodality and GPS debating. He took a prominent part in drama and played rugby in the second XV. He entered the Society at Loyola College, Watsonia, 8 February 1934, was a junior and philosopher there, studied theology at Canisius College, Pymble, and did regency at Riverview, 1941-44, where he was also third prefect. Tertianship was completed at Watsonia, 1949, and he then returned to Riverview as spiritual father to the boys, 1950-52. Afterwards he spent a few years at the junior school, Campion Hall, Point Piper. His final appointment was as socius to the master of novices at Watsonia, 1955-56. He was a gentleman who was a friend of everyone who knew him. He was simple in manner, always cheerful, obliging and zealous. He died suddenly, the result of a road accident while making a right-hand turn on his motor cycle. The impact was not considered severe, and it was thought that he really died from a heart attack.
