A Possible Candidate for Canonization
b. Gallerate, Milan Dioc.; ed. Foreign Missionary Society Seminary, Milan (hence PIME); ord. 1851; seminary teacher; in unsuccessful PIME mission to Rook Island 1852-5 in which Father Mazzaconi was martyred; while other missionaries went to Hong Kong, Angelo stayed in Sydney; chaplain to OSB nuns at Subiaco and at St. Vincent's Hospital; very saintly - Mass each day from Ordination to death on 11.5.1891; age 67; interred at Rookwood.
