The parish priest of Queanbeyan, N.S.W., Rev. Father Patrick Deenihan, died last Sunday night at Queanbeyan, aged 42 years. He had been ill for two months. Father Deenihan was educated and ordained in Ireland, and came to Australia in 1917. He was assistant priest at Tumut, Crookwell, and Moruya, administrator at Gunning and Cootamundra, in charge of Michelago, and parish priest at Queanbeyan for two and a half years. The funeral was last Tuesday, following a Solemn Office and Requiem Mass in St. Gregory's Church. His Lordship the Bishop of Goulburn (Right Rev. Dr. J. Barry) presided.—R.I.P.
