Grant, James Vincent
Born in August 1854 in Aghavilley, Co Waterford. Educated at St Kieran's Seminary, Kilkenny. Studied at All Hallows. He was ordained at All Hallows on 24 June 1880 for the Melbourne archdiocese, and arrived in Melbourne in November 1880 on Cotopaxi. He is listed by Southerwood as having served in the 'Melbourne diocese, Hobart diocese, Gunnedah, Newcastle, Coonamble, Tamworth'. There is no evidence available that he was in either the Armidale or Maitland dioceses. He died on 14 April 1903. Place of death unknown. Place of burial unknown.
