Rev Henry Taylor MacFarlane, died 20 Feb 1946
Born 16th April, 1915 in Toowoomba, to Henry and Teresa MacFarlane (nee MacKintosh). His early education was at St Joseph's, Pittsworth and St Joseph's, Nudgee. He attended St Columba's Seminary at Springwood. Bishop Roper ordained Fr MacFarlane at Toowoomba on 28th July, 1940. His first appointment was to Roma in February, 1941. Not long after, he developed T.B. and was continuously on sick leave until his death, spending a great deal of time in a sanatorium in Stanthorpe. He is buried in the Toowoomba/Drayton Cemetery.
