On August 4, Rev. Father Richard Golding, S.J., died in a private nursing home in Dublin. He was a native of Galway, Ireland. The late Father Golding was educated at Clongowes, entered the Society of Jesus in 1886, and was ordained in 1904. Before ordination he was on the teaching staff of St. Ignatius' College, Riverview. He was a distinguished Irish scholar, and taught the language for some years at Clongowes. Later he was director of the Irish Sodality in St. Francis Xavier's Church, Dublin, and editor of the Gaelic "Messenger of the Sacred Heart."— R.I.P.
