We list this Sacred Heart missioner to indicate that the Order was using Australia, and especially Sydney as a base, prior to the turn of the century. Alexander was ordained in September 1890. He is listed as a passenger on the 'Armand Behic' which arrived in Melbourne on 7.12.1898. He laboured zealously in the Gilbert and Ellice Islands. The death date is recorded as 23.5.1918.
